The Comala canyon in the municipality of Chiquilistlán, Jalisco, is a stunning natural paradise surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and natural pools of crystal-clear water. It is known for its rock formations and for being one of the destinations for canyoning. This activity consists of a ravine with many optional water jumps of 2 to 14 meters, 3 natural slides of 3 to 12 meters, and a great 17-meter rappel down a waterfall—an aquatic adventure with turquoise-blue pools, ideal for beginners and adventure lovers.

Transfer to the activity site.

Gear preparation, safety briefing and start of the descent.

Recommended activity for people over 12 years of age and with medium to high physical condition. We do not suggest this trip for pregnant women, people with knee or back injuries, or recent surgeries. Please note that from the moment you make your trip reservation, we act solely as intermediaries between you and the contracted services, and you likewise accept their no-show, cancellation, and any other additional terms and conditions that may apply on the part of the final provider. It is established that Explora México Tours, its representatives, and the client shall incur no liability whatsoever for the cancellation or suspension of the provision of one or more services indicated in this itinerary due to acts of God or force majeure such as: pandemic, war, rebellion, sabotage, riot, hurricane, earthquake, weather conditions, acts of governmental authority, disturbances by organized crime, social demonstrations, or any other event beyond the control of the company and the client. The costs generated by the aforementioned circumstances, such as meals, additional nights, medical care, psychological care, and transfers to their place of origin, must be covered by the final client. Explora México Tours will allow cancellations with a penalty of 30% of the trip value. Cancellations between 45 and 30 days before the trip will incur a penalty of 80% of the trip value. Cancellations made between 29 and 0 days before the trip date will incur a 100% penalty of the trip value. Cancellations made by the client on the day of the trip, or if they fail to show up, apply as a NO SHOW and incur a 100% PENALTY, with no refund and no credit toward another trip. The client is responsible for their actions; therefore, in the event of an accident, injury, or medical expenses, they release Explora México Tours and its representatives from any situation unrelated to the service provided, except for the traveler insurance that applies during the trip’s journeys and the activity, which must be reported by the user on the same day of the incident.
